About The Event
A Bucklebury Common walk to record bird sightings starting at 8.30am meeting at The Memorial Hall, Broad Lane , Upper Bucklebury and will last 2.5 to 3 hours. The purpose of the survey is to assess the improvement for birds of clearing the jungle of holly, birch and scrub to generate more heathland, woodland pasture and open land. Cattle will also be brought to the site with the aim of keeping the regrowth at bay. Contact Bob Lyle to register your interest.
