About The Event
A new area for the Club, comprising a lake, woodland and adjacent farmland close to the River Thames near Bourne End in Buckinghamshire. The site is good for overwintering wildfowl and passerines including Goldcrest, Treecreeper and Brambling. Leaving Newbury at 8.30am, we will aim to arrive about 9.30 for a morning visit, but it can be extended to other nearby sites if required. Bring food although there are several good hostelries in the area. Meet in the car park near the end of Coldmoorholme Lane, Bourne End, OS grid 884865. Sat nav SL8 5PS.
